This patent protects the rights for BTs as antiseptics. Antiseptics are typically topical antimicrobials, like triple antibiotic cremes, iodine and 70% alcohol. But the BTs work so much better at eradicating these persistent infections.
Staph bacteria like MRSA are often responsible for these infections, and Staph is exquisitely sensitive to BTs.
I use small amounts of BTs to get rid of infections in my sinuses and skin. Microbion, the company that took over the R&D for my invention, are curing diabetic wounds with BTs. They’re also placing it in surgical wounds to prevent infection. Works like a charm. We were also able to keep rats with infected burn wounds from dying.
BTs should eventually replace other antiseptics and antibiotics for these purposes.
Bravo, Philip! Glad to hear this good news. Your contribution is to be lauded!
